Mass Effect 2 is a new entry in the top 10 this week at number 1 knocking Modern Warfare 2 down into second place, although i’m sure it will be back in the number 1 spot soon.   The other usual supsects are still part of the chart with the likes of Forza 3, Fifa 10 and Grand Theft Auto Episodes still featuring in the top 10  xbox 360 games chart.

Xbox 360 chart – 30th January 2010

As predicted COD MW2 is still at the top of the chart and is likely to remain their for some time yet given the popularity and following of the game. Assassins Creed 2 sits in the number 2 spot and Fifa 10 in third. There are no new entries in the chart this week although DJ Hero makes a re-entry into the top 10 from 13th place last week in the overall top 40.

Xbox 360 Full Price Games Chart – 22/08/09

This weeks xbox 360 full price chart sees a new entry at the number 1 spot from Ashes Cricket 2009, no doubt as a result of the current ashes series taking place, this has knocked last weeks number 1 spot Fight Night Round 4 into second place. This is followed by Call Of Juarez which sees the biggest climb into 3rd spot from last weeks 6th replacing UFC 2009 which sees the largest drop down to position number 8 but still holding a top 10 spot for the time being.

With the new Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 being released later this year I predict that we will see 3 Call Of Duty titles in the top 10 especially in the run up to the busy Christmas period. With the next series in both FIFA and Pro Evo also soon upon us there is also likely to be a big change to the chart and it will be interesting to see which games will occupy the top spots and watch the battle between the two biggest football titles as far as games consoles are concerned.

With no new entries this week there has been little movement in the chart. Fuel and Terminator Salvation dropped out of the top 10 and were replaced by Resident Evil 5 and Fifa 09 with Resident Evil 5 climbing 10 places to take the number 8 spot.
