It may have been around a while now and we have seen the release of Black Ops and the new Modern Warfare 3 since it’s release but Modern Warfare 2 is still a popular game and has a large following online as indicated by last weeks Xbox Live activity.

Well worth the £9.95 price tag for anyone that has not got it yet, and very easy to clock up days of play online once you get the hang of things.

Crackdown 2 has dropped in price to just £5.71 including delivery at Amazon.

If you were a fan of the original crackdown then this is a must as it is very similar in style. For those not familiar with the crackdown think a futuristic grand theft auto with super human powers, thrown in with zombies and you are pretty much close to what this game is all about.

Not quite as good as Blur in our opinion, most people will compare Split Second with Blur given the similar release dates and style of game, but for £10 it’s a decent purchase.

Game: Alan Wake Xbox 360

Released in May 2010 Alan Wake is something a little bit different. A recommended game for anyone into psychological thrillers, the sort of game that’s great to play in the dark.

A good price although some were disappointed after all of the hype when the game was first released. At £8.99 though it’s worth adding to your Xbox 360 games collection.

Released in September 2009 Need for Speed Shift is a decent racer if you like such games as Forza, PGR and Grid.

A fantastic online multiplayer game that will take up hours of your time. For those that joined Call Of Duty with the release of Black Ops this is still worth getting and well worth the price.
