Available at time of writing on pre-order from Play.com priced at £24.99, which for 40 retro Sega Mega Drive titles seems like a real bargain and works out at just over 60p per game, a lot cheaper than any download content / games available on Xbox Live.

Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection developed by Backbone Entertainment is the largest collection of SEGA games ever offered together in one go. If like me you remember the original titles back in the day then this will be top of your wanted list. To sweeten the deal even further the games will be available in high definition (HD) format at 720p.
