When was the Xbox 360 released?

The xbox 360 was released over 3 different dates worldwide, first in the USA, then in Europe and finally in Japan furing the end of 2005.

The launch dates of each area were as follows:
USA – 22nd November 2005
Europe – 2nd December 2005
Japan – 10th December 2005

After the announcement on the 15th of September 2005 by Yoshihiro Maruyama it was just over 2 months later that the console was released to the world.
